The GEF-funded project Ecosystem-based Adaptation through South-South Cooperation (EbA South) is organizing an Interregional Writing Workshop, with the aim to review global and regional strategies and funding opportunities for EbA in developing countries.

The workshop will provide an introduction to funding opportunities for EbA through funding programmes such as the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF), as well as in-depth training on the concepts for bringing about a transformative change, overcoming barriers, stakeholder consultations and theory of change. The expected output are concept notes for the continuation and upscaling of EbA implementation piloted by the EbA South project in Mauritania, Nepal and Seychelles.

The workshop will be led by the project Chief Technical Advisor, Dr. Anthony Mills.
