Most of his research concentrates on industrial ecology, ecosystem assets evaluation and management, adaptation to climate change and biodiversity protection. He has leaded and participated in many projects entrusted by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc. He has published more than 30 papers in refereed international journals.
