Seminar presentation details: Typical cities always had a significant impact on regional development of the GMS, which is the earliest and most effective regional cooperation mechanism of China.

UNEP-IEMP’s researcher Hui Cao’s Ph.D study focuses on the land-use pattern change of typical cities of the GMS.
This presentation highlighted the land-use/landscape change/urban expansion of six typical cities in the past decades:Xishuangbanna, Yangon, Vientiane, Bangkok, Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City.
