On January 20, 2021, Ms. Tatirose Vijitpan, Climate Change Adaptation Specialist and Focal Point of the Greater Mekong Sub-region Portfolio, UNEP-IEMP, gave a lecture as part of the course on climate change and development of the Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices, under the Graduate Institute - Geneva (IHEID) and Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).

Her talk was under the topic “Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA): Principles and Practices”, consisting of the development of EbA, key principles, benefits, examples of EbA initiatives, steps to conduct EbA interventions, challenges, among others. Since the students were all from the Mekong region, the talk was tailored to the Mekong context, particularly the examples of the EbA projects in the region. The lecture was well-received, with various pertinent questions from the students.
