Though the diet quality has been improved significantly compared to decade ago, it is still far from a balanced diet. Through diet structure change, a combined nutrition level increase, food related expense decrease, and food related environmental impact decrease could be achieved. The findings highlighted the importance of diet structure change in rural areas to gain multi benefits from health, economic and environmental perspectives.
